Hello everyone! My name is Olivia, Elle’s sister, and I am so excited to announce that Stride with Pride is now going to be a joint venture! So without further ado, here’s my very first post! I hope you like it!
With the hour changing back tonight it’s that time of year again when the weather starts to pick up and summer planning gets well and truly underway! As I was feeling extra excited about summer last night, I decided to look back over photos from my trip to Greece in September. Oh how I miss those glorious days spent reading my book down at the beach, walking downtown for my morning coffee and exploring the tiny little streets and alleyways!
I was therefore inspired to pick out some items I feel would be perfect for a summer’s holiday! What I like most about these pieces I’ve picked out is that they can very easily be worn with a lot of different garments with the subtle colours and variety of materials oozing casual sophistication.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. Talk soon Xx Liv
I recently went on a family vacation to Paros island in Greece for 10 days. I had such an amazing time there and I feel so relaxed since coming home. My next post will be a photo diary of the island so that I can share my experience with you guys. Prepare yourselves for lots of beautiful, scenic photos! I have one more week of summer holidays now and then it’s time to get back into the routine of attending lectures and getting my head down. It may sound crazy to some, but if I’m being honest I don’t really mind going back to college as my days could do with a bit of structure again rather than the lazing around I’ve become accustomed to. I wonder will I be saying the same thing in a months time???
Moving onto the outfit now… I wore this Zara polka dot blouse and Topshop skort going out for dinner one of the nights during the holiday. I love wearing blouses as they look so chic and yet they are lightweight and breezy at the same time. Did I mention the 30 degree heat we got? Us Irish are not used to this kind of heat so light and airy clothes are essential! I paired the blouse with a burgundy skort as I love this colour combination. Finally my shoes are from Zara. I have to confess though, I didn’t realise that the streets in Paros would be quite so steep and cobbly so because we were walking to dinner I didn’t actually wear the heels. But hey they look good for the pictures ! Let me know what you think of this outfit in the comments below. That’s all for now but I’ll be back soon with my next post.
